Since her teens, Anna has worked with young children in a variety of settings.
I graduated with a BA in Liberal Arts from Evergreen State College in 2004. I always knew I wanted to teach young children. I began as a summer camp counselor during high school. When I moved on to college, I worked as an assistant at the childcare center on campus. I found that working with children was a great path to follow because it opened up an exciting and loving world for me. I moved on from there with a goal of becoming a teacher.
My love for Montessori began when I worked at a small private school in Tacoma. That was where I was introduced to the Montessori method, and my heart has been drawn to it ever since. I am so happy to be working at the Creative Montessori School. I especially enjoy doing art projects and reading with the kids. The school provides a terrific environment for children and has an amazing staff.
I live nearby with my husband. I enjoy photography, tennis, singing, seeing plays and movies, and I look forward to teaching every day.
